You can use the RADIUS service for User Privileged Access of network devices, such as Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer 4 switch, Firewall, or router. In other words, If a user logs in to a network device, the credentials are authenticated and authorized not from the local user database in the device but from the imRAD service.
